In the presence and supervision of the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, the election of the presidency of the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee took place today, Wednesday, 4/10/2023, in the beginning, His Sovereignty spoke about the importance of the committee’s work in providing support and care to youth and continuing coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Federations to enhance sporting initiatives and activities at the country level, the Deputy Speaker supervised the mechanism for electing the committee’s presidency in a democratic atmosphere and by achieving a quorum for the number of committee members, while His Sovereignty blessed the new committee’s presidency, wishing them success in performing their legislative and oversight responsibilities and tasks within the Council.

1- Giay Timur – Chairman of the Committee

2- Mahmoud Al-Obaidi – First Vice Chairman of the Committee

3- Bidda Khidr – Second Vice-Chairman of the Committee
