The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, discussed at his headquarters in Baghdad today, Monday 20/2/2023 with the Political Affairs advisor to the American Embassy Mr. (Bots Polikoen), the latest developments in the political situation on the Iraqi scene, as well as discussing a number of issues of common concern, foremost of which is the work of the Council of Representatives in its current session, the most important laws in force and the necessary legislation that are related to service projects and infrastructure, and activate the work of the government committee for Article 140 of the constitution, implement the Sinjar Agreement and reconstruct the region, and secure the return of the displaced to their original areas.
