The head of the Iraqi delegation, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, discusses with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan the strengthening of bilateral relations and the activation of memoranda of understanding between the two friendly countries.

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, and the head of the Iraqi delegation participating in the “Baku” International Conference met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Aziz Oglu Bayramov, at the headquarters of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, During the meeting, they discussed topics and issues of common interest, including ways to enhance bilateral diplomatic relations between the two countries. Representatives, members of the delegation, and the charge d’affaires in the capital, Baku, attended the meeting.

Abdullah, in the context of his conversation with Bayramov, stressed the need to activate the memorandums of understanding between Baghdad and Baku, especially since there are common cultural and religious ties between the two friendly people, In addition to the importance of continuing coordination, cooperation, and exchange of visits at the governmental and parliamentary levels, activating tourism, opening airlines, and facilitating the granting of entry visas to Iraqi arrivals to Azerbaijan.
