Al-Halboosi Receives The Ambassadors Of Qatar And Kuwait To Iraq

The Parliament Speaker, Mohammed al-Halboosi, received on Tuesday, in separate meetings, the new Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Sultan bin Mubarak Khalifa al-Kubaisi, and the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Tariq Abdullah al-Faraj.

 

His Excellency congratulated the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Sultan bin Mubarak bin Khalifa al-Kubaisi, on assuming his new duties.

 

The meetings discussed bilateral relations, enhancing bilateral cooperation, coordinating positions in international forums regarding regional issues, and a number of topics of common interest.

 

Developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and diplomatic efforts to stop the war were also discussed. His Excellency reiterated Iraq’s firm popular and official position in supporting the Palestinian cause.
