With great sadness and sorrow, and with hearts that are patient and believe in God’s will and destiny, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, received the news of the passing of the popular artist, the great singer – “ Voice of the Earth, “Yas Khadr”, who was an important milestone on the artistic scene and a symbol of the authentic Iraqi heritage, and the Deputy Speaker sent his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Artists Syndicate and the Iraqi and Arab artistic circles on this painful occasion, His Sovereignty prayed to the Almighty God to bless the artist’s soul with His mercy to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family, relatives, and lovers with patience and solace.
