Al-Halboosi meets his Egyptian counterpart

 

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met, on Sunday, the Egyptian Parliament Speaker Dr. Hanafy El-Gebaly.

 

The meeting discussed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and its role in enhancing ways of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to the importance of coordinating positions in Arab, regional and international forums towards common issues, as al-Halboosi affirmed the continuation of parliamentary cooperation between Iraq and Egypt and support for steps of cooperation between the two governments.

 

El-Gebaly renewed his country’s firm position to support Iraq in everything that contributes to achieving its development and stability, stressing the continuation of work at the parliamentary level to develop joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
