Al-Halboosi receives the ambassadors of Australia, Spain and the Czech Republic
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received in separate meetings today, Monday, the Ambassadors of Australia, Paula Elizabeth Ganly, Spain, Pedro Martineth and Czech Republic, Petr Stepanek.
At the beginning of the meetings, the ambassadors congratulated His Excellency on his re-election as Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament in its fifth period.
The meetings dealt with mutual relations and strengthening cooperation between Iraq and its friends in the world in the areas that Iraq needs, which will be positively reflected on its people, as well as the support for the Iraqi government in the fields of economy, development and service projects.
The meetings discussed developments of the situation in Iraq and the region and a number of issues of common interest.
For their parts, the ambassadors affirmed their support for the democratic process in Iraq and everything that would contribute to its development and stability.
