Dr. Shakhawan Abdullah holds a meeting with the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives and related departments to evaluate the work and direct to raise the level of performance in line with the size of the tasks and responsibilities*.

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhawan Abdullah, Ahmed, held an expanded meeting this evening, Sunday 29/9/2024, with the Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives and his deputies and the general managers and advisors, in the presence of the directors of the presidency offices. During the meeting, the work evaluation was and the development of tools and mechanisms were discussed, obstacles were identified and addressed, and the ability to increase capacity within the legislative institution and employ capabilities and use them in a better way was enabled. His Sovereignty listened to the talk of those present and the most important obstacles facing the departments associated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives.

– The Deputy Speaker directed the need to improve work and raise the level of performance and administrative, financial and technical organization, and complete the implementation of projects of rehabilitation and development and the use of techniques from modern digital technology and provide them to ladies and gentlemen representatives in a manner consistent with the volume of work and responsibilities and provide support to them in order to exercise their national duties in oversight and legislation of laws.
