*Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives Dr. Shakhawan Abdullah receives a delegation from the Kurdistan Teachers Union, Khanaqin Branch, and stresses the continuation of efforts to support educational cadres, meet their demands and end their suffering*.

Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Dr. Shakhawan Abdullah Ahmed received in his official office in Baghdad a delegation from the Kurdistan Teachers Union, Khanaqin District Branch in Diyala Governorate. The delegation was headed by the branch’s head, Mr. Muhammad Shaker Mahdi. The meeting was attended by a number of representatives. During the meeting, topics related to the role of teachers and teaching staff were discussed and the need to stand with this important segment of society and work to support these cadres was continued, especially in the disputed areas covered by Article 140 of the Constitution.

– The Deputy Speaker, in the context of the conversation, stressed the continuation of efforts and hard work to transfer their services to the staff of the Ministry of Education in the federal government, and to make more efforts aimed at empowering educational cadres and providing them with support and meeting their demands, addressing their problems and ending their suffering in a way that guarantees their legitimate rights to perform their educational and pedagogical mission to serve society.
