In a statement issued today, Saturday, 9/9/2023, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, expressed the sincerest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the brothers in the Kingdom of Morocco regarding the earthquake disaster that struck the country. His Sovereignty also sent his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, declared his full solidarity with the Moroccan people in the face of the devastating effects, and wished safety for them and a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured.
