Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah, chairs the meeting of the Finance Committee and calls for expediting the completion of discussions and preparing the federal budget law for voting on it.

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, chaired this evening, Thursday 18/5/2023, the Parliamentary Finance Committee meeting in the presence of the chairman and members of the committee, His Sovereignty called for the need to expedite the completion of discussions for all articles of the federal budget law for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, and to prepare the law for a vote on it, while appreciating the continuous efforts of the Finance Committee in order to pass this important law that all our people are waiting for.
