Al-Halboosi meets with the President of the Republic

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met, on Monday, with the President of the Republic, Latif Rashid, during his visit to Sulaymaniyah at the invitation of His Excellency the President of the Republic to participate in the celebrations of our Kurdish people on the occasion of Nowruz.

 

The meeting discussed the political situation in the country, emphasizing the importance of activating the oversight and legislative role of the Parliament, and a number of important legislations, including the Parliament and provincial elections law, and other laws included in the ministerial program and the political agreement paper.
