Al-Halboosi meets with the Speaker of the Bahraini Shura (Consultative) Council

 

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi and his accompanying delegation met in Manama, on Sunday, with the Speaker of the Shura (Consultative) Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ali bin Saleh al-Saleh, on the sidelines of the 146th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

 

The meeting discussed relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance cooperation between the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the Bahraini Shura (Consultative) and Representative Councils, the exchange of expertise and legislative experiences and parliamentary diplomacy, and coordination of positions, especially in international forums, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
