Al-Halboosi receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation in Morocco

The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received, on Saturday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation in the Kingdom of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, and his accompanying delegation.

 

His Excellency blessed the reopening of the Moroccan embassy in Iraq, after years of its closure, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries at all levels, including the parliamentary level, and working to activate bilateral cooperation in various fields.

 

On the other side, Bourita expressed his appreciation for the role of His Excellency in supporting Morocco in the Arab Parliamentary Union, noting that his visit today is a

message of solidarity and support from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and the Moroccan government and people to Iraq, stressing his country’s desire for the relationship between the two countries to move to advanced stages of fruitful cooperation, and that the opening of the embassy is a sign of developing relations and strengthening ties between the two countries to enhance cooperation in all fields.
