Al-Halboosi meets the President of the Republic
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met, on Sunday, with the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.
The developments in the political and security situation on the local and regional arenas were discussed, as well as the strengthening of Iraq’s relations with its Arab and international environment.
The importance of consolidating the principle of dialogue between national powers, and making serious efforts to combat and eliminate corruption in order to achieve political, security and economic stability, was emphasized, and the need to pass laws that contribute to achieving the aspirations of the people and fulfill their requirements.
