Al-Halboosi, the French ambassador discuss opening of the French Consulate in Ninawa
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received the French ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevallier.
The bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in the field of economy and investment to serve the interests of the two friendly countries were discussed in the meeting, as well as the opening of the French Consulate in Ninawa.
The meeting also discussed developments in the political situation in the country and a number of issues of common interest.
