Al-Halboosi receives new Iranian ambassador
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi received on Tuesday the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mr. Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq, and his accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Speaker expressed his wishes for the Iranian ambassador to success in his new duties, pointing to the importance of diplomatic work in strengthening bilateral relations.
The meeting discussed relations between the two countries and the development of joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two neighboring peoples, as well as discussing developments in the political situation in the country and the region.
