within his series of humanitarian initiatives, and at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, hosted an Iftar banquet for a group of orphans and disadvantaged children in Kirkuk Governorate, His Sovereignty sat among these children and shared the banquet with them in order to bring joy and happiness to their hearts, drawing joy on their faces, conducting conversations with them with love and affection, and presenting gifts to them to raise their spirits and restore hope in their souls..

Abdullah, for his part, called on the federal government to develop care and shelter centers, provide the best services for orphans and children, create an appropriate atmosphere and a decent life, and what they need in terms of programs, training, education and rehabilitation, as well as cultural and intellectual programs, And instilling faith, love and belonging to the homeland, and teaching them the authentic customs and traditions in our society.
