Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah discusses with a team from the United Nations Mission the necessity of continuing support for the Iraqi people, and strengthening cooperation with the Parliament in the field of legislation and laws 

The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, received in his official office in Baghdad a delegation from the United Nations Mission in Iraq, which included: (Mr. Muhammad Al-Najjar, Director of the Political Department, Mr. Khaled Al-Sawy and Ms. Dana Amma, experts in the field of politics).
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi political scene and the work of the Parliament at this important and sensitive phase, especially there are constitutional entitlements, And a number of issues and files must be resolved through negotiation and understandings between the political forces.
