Al-Halboosi meets the Prime Minister
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met on Sunday the Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the political arena, efforts to fulfill the constitutional obligations on time, and to strengthen the path of democracy and national action in order to devote themselves to providing more services to citizens and achieving their aspirations.
In the meeting, the importance of enhancing the citizen’s confidence in the political process was emphasized by focusing on the goal of serving the people, the importance of passing legal obligations related to people’s lives, and facing global challenges and the increasing tensions that were reflected on the Iraqi economy.
The meeting witnessed the exchange of views and visions seeking to overcome obstacles and political obstruction, and to exert more efforts in assisting the national parliamentary forces to assume the responsibilities of the stage, and to confront the current crises; in order to promote the pace of development and prosperity.
